报告人简介：Dr. Chunbo Ma did his undergraduate degree at Nankai University, and Master and PhD at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He became a Research Fellow at the University of Michigan in 2007 and an Assistant Professor at the University of Western Australia (UWA) in 2009. He was then tenured in 2012 and later promoted to Associated Professor in 2014. He is also associated with the Centre for Environmental Economics and Policy (CEEP).
Dr. Ma was trained as an energy and ecological economist and have developed broad research interests in the fields of energy, environmental, resource, ecological and agricultural economics. He has received several important awards and fellowships. Among these are the Chauncey Starr Fellowship (2005~2007), the Alcoa Foundation Sustainability Fellowship (2007~2009), the Australian-China Emerging Future Leaders Fellowship (2013), the Discovery Earlier Career Researcher Award (2013~2015), and the Vice-Chancellor’s inaugural Earlier Career Researcher Award (2014).
