Wendeng Hu is a data scientist at Stanford University. His interests include machine learning and deep learning in various domains including biomedical, geoscience and economics. Prior to his data scientist position, he was a machine learning researcher at Stanford University. He earned his M.S. in Data Science from the University of San Francisco and M.S. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a HFUT alumnus with a B.A. in English degree.
报告内容简介：
This lecture will briefly introduce the universities in the U.S. Methods of applying for the master’s program in the U.S. will be covered. The master’s programs may include, but are not limited to, Economics, Business Analytics, Statistics and Data Science. Besides, this lecture will provide a concise introduction to data science and how to prepare to be a data scientist. Last, the lecturer will share his journey to be a data scientist at Stanford University.
